Fact or Fiction? Your project can only be done in the summer.

Yesterday, a friend of mine sent me a picture taken through the window of their warm home looking out at snow falling and covering the ground. You probably had the same reaction as I did – NO! Not yet! I am certainly not ready for snow and cold, and truthfully I’m having a hard time adjusting to the time change. I want my sunlight!

The short answer is yes, absolutely, as long as you are contracting with a reputable builder and remodeler. The reality is that the Cincinnati and tristate weather creates building challenges year round. Whether we are building a new home, a home addition, or remodeling the façade of your home, wind, rain, droughts, ice, snow, and extreme heat or cold can all hinder the building process. However, a seasoned veteran builder understands these elements and the procedures and techniques to build in all sorts of unique situations.

Fact or Fiction? Fiction.

Our best advice is to hire a seasoned veteran builder and build your project when it makes the most sense for you and your family. Building and remodeling is always disruptive to your life regardless of when it happens, so you should choose a time of year when you know you and your family can best handle the change to your daily routine. In the end you will have a new home, addition, or newly remodeled space that you can enjoy for years to come.
