Entertaining With Ease In A Wyoming Kitchen

These homeowners love to entertain and requested a kitchen that would be a natural and comfortable gathering place for groups of all sizes. Now they have a beautiful space for leisurely family breakfasts, lavish parties, and everything in between. Opening up the kitchen started with removing a wall and using space from the dining room. In addition, we enlarged the sink window to make the expanded room feel even more airy, better capture the beauty of the backyard, and flood the space with natural light.

The kitchen island was added to improve the entertaining flow and simplify food prep. The island was designed strategically with two tiers — one end at bar height for easy, comfortable gatherings, and the other end offering the perfect place to prepare and serve food. Finely crafted woodwork can be found throughout the kitchen. Even the ceiling serves an important function, with soffits that mask complicated heating ducts and plumbing that could not be removed.
