Stunning Hyde Park Sunroom Addition

These homeowners wanted to transform their side porch into an elegant sunroom, requesting that the design match the architecture of their 1935 home. The exterior included a steeply pitched slate roof, copper gutters, arched-topped windows and doors, limestone sills, and a limestone stoop. 

Inside is a vaulted ceiling with a stunning chandelier and elegant woodwork. The existing fireplace inside the house was converted to be double-sided, so homeowners could also enjoy it in the sunroom. What looks like beautiful hardwood flooring is actually wood-grained porcelain tile, complete with radiant floor heat to keep the room comfortable even on chilly evenings.
