A Screened Space Made For Seasons

We created a more comfortable way to enjoy the outdoors by designing a screened deck that offers protection from the elements without losing the connection to the backyard. Large screened openings bring in natural light and open views, while the covered structure helps the space feel like a true outdoor room.

We also framed peaceful views of the trees, lawn, and surrounding landscape so the space feels relaxing and connected to nature. The result is an outdoor living area that feels sheltered, inviting, and easy to enjoy.

Comfortable Zones For Lounging And Dining

We designed distinct areas for relaxing, gathering, and dining so the screened deck can support multiple kinds of moments. The lounge area creates a comfortable place to sit back, enjoy the backyard views, and spend time together.

A separate dining area adds even more flexibility, making it easy to move from casual conversation to outdoor meals. Together, these zones help the deck function like a true extension of the home’s living space.

Warm Wood Details Overhead And Underfoot

We added warmth, texture, and character with a wood ceiling that helps the screened deck feel more like a finished outdoor room. Recessed lighting and a ceiling fan were built into the design to make the space more comfortable, practical, and easy to enjoy throughout the day and in multiple seasons.

The deck flooring continues that warm, natural feel underfoot while creating a clean foundation for both the lounge and dining areas. Together, the wood tones, brick exterior, dark posts, and black railing give the space a balanced look that feels polished without losing its relaxed outdoor feel.

Backyard Views

We designed the screened deck to keep the backyard at the center of the experience. Mature trees, green lawn, and surrounding landscape remain part of the view, while the screened enclosure makes the space feel more comfortable, defined, and usable.

The dark railing and posts help frame the outdoor views without taking away from them. This gives the deck an open, calm feeling while still creating comfort and structure.

 

Finished Details From Top To Bottom

We carried the design through every part of the screened deck, from the ceiling fan and recessed lighting to the screened openings and dark railing. These details help the space feel complete, comfortable, and ready for everyday use.

The craftsmanship continues below the deck, where the wood support posts and under-deck structure create a strong foundation for the finished outdoor living space. It is a remodel designed to look beautiful, feel comfortable, and function well for the long term.
